Emelie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 2 years experience practicing clinical social work in Baton Rouge.  She is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS).  Her undergraduate degree is in Rehabilitation Counseling from LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans, and she earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from LSU in 2005.  Emelie has 6 years of experience in medical social work assisting individuals and families adjust to lifestyle changes due to medical conditions and end of life decisions.

I am easy going, motivated, and have a positive approach to therapy. I provide exceptional services utilizing a holistic approach of understanding your needs and empowering you to meet your goals. Therapy is tailored to the needs and goals of each person to create a process that feels most comfortable and fitting.  Together we explore your situation and circumstances, process feelings, and find “tools” for your toolbox. My specialties include anxiety, depression, adjustment counseling, anger management, and couples counseling.
